Key Oxbridge Application Dates
1 September 2009 marked the first day for submitting UCAS applications. Applicants typically confirm whether an admission test is required for their courses by early September, in preparation for the UCAS application deadline of 15 October.
Testing
Phase 1 is typically testing: the Law National Admissions Test (LNAT), Thinking Skills Assessment (TSA), BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT), English Literature Admissions Test (ELAT), History Aptitude Test (HAT), Physics Aptitude Test and Aptitude Test for Mathematics and Computer Science are taken at various dates from mid September to November.
Written Work
The Oxford closing date for submitting written work, if required, is 10 November. Please see the Cambridge website for stipulated deadlines on written work.
Between 6 and 16 December, Oxford University interviews and undertakes written tests for subjects that require such tests during the interview period.
Outcome of Application
